Building for the
Future of Our Parish

What to Expect

With an eye toward the future, we have been thoughtfully planning an exciting vision for our church and school. We are thrilled to share that funding is now in place for our first project, the renovation of our rectory lobby and priest living quarters, and we will officially break ground on March 2, 2026!

Project 1 will include the renovation of the rectory lobby and priest living quarters. We anticipate this construction lasting about 8-9 months. During this time, there will be some temporary changes to walkways, parking, and shared spaces due to construction staging and fencing.

We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we begin this exciting first step in improving the experience for our entire community. We will continue to share updates as the project progresses!

❋ Parish Office

The parish office will still be accessible through the main lobby doors. There will be a new wall put up to enclose the construction area and allow for business to still be conducted at the parish office window.

❋ Lobby Access

As the lobby will be under construction, there will not be direct access between the parish lobby and the Basilica. You will need to go outside and through the main door to access the parish office from the Basilica.

❋ Church Parking Lot

A small, temporary restroom trailer will be placed in the side parking lot adjacent to the church. These restrooms will be securely locked and available for use during Masses, funerals, and parish events, as the rectory lobby will be under renovation.

❋ Music Room

The Music Room (where many parish functions including hospitality are typically held) will be unavailable during the construction period. Hospitality will re-locate to the Parish Center.

❋ Tremont Street Sidewalk

The sidewalk in front of the rectory on Tremont Street will be fenced off and shifted to accommodate construction staging.

❋ Additional Fencing

Fencing will be installed outside the Music Room and in the Priest Garden on campus. This will ensure containment of the construction site and allow for safety precautions during the work. Clearly marked walkways and appropriate clearance will ensure that the construction area is not open to campus.
