Building the Future of Our Parish
With an eye toward the future, we have been thoughtfully planning an exciting vision for our church and school. We are thrilled to share that funding is now in place for our first project, the renovation of our rectory lobby and priest living quarters, and we will officially break ground on March 2, 2026!
You are invited to attend a Parish Meeting on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:00am in the Parish Center. We will share additional details about these improvements and discuss our vision moving forward. Your involvement is an important part of strengthening our parish community.

USCCB Issues Special Message on Immigration
At their Fall Plenary Assembly in Baltimore, the U.S. bishops issued a rare Special Message—the first in twelve years—expressing deep concern for the growing fear, anxiety, and division surrounding immigration in our nation.
The message, overwhelmingly approved by the bishops, reaffirms the Church’s commitment to the God-given dignity of every person. As pastors, the bishops note with sorrow the harsh rhetoric facing immigrants, the strain on families, and troubling conditions in detention centers. They remind us that Catholic teaching upholds both the protection of human dignity and the need for nations to ensure just and orderly immigration systems. The bishops call for meaningful immigration reform, safe and legal pathways, and an end to indiscriminate mass deportations.Rooted in Scripture and Christ’s call to love our neighbor, the bishops offer solidarity to immigrant brothers and sisters:
“You are not alone.” They express gratitude for the many clergy, religious, and lay faithful who accompany immigrants in need, and they urge all people of goodwill to continue this compassionate work while praying for wisdom for our nation’s leaders.
The bishops also encourage parishes to foster communities where newcomers feel welcomed and supported. They remind the faithful that the Church has long been a refuge for those seeking hope and stability, and they invite all Catholics to reflect on how they can personally embody Christ’s mercy toward migrants and families seeking a better life.
